Sourav Banerjee is a certified SAP BDC Architect and Blackbelt expert with more than 18 years of experience in various SAP Analytics products. He has held the roles of Solution Architect and Pre-Sales Lead for many customers in Europe, the UK, and the US. Sourav has extensive experience in delivering complex implementation programs and leading the design for complex analytics ecosystems, and has always achieved excellence. He has great interest in preparing technical documentation and diving deep into new product roadmaps/functionalities. 

Sourav has not only been involved in technical design and coding, he also has a strategic mindset which helps him envision a holistic view of an entire landscape. His focus area is consulting and preparing solutions for customer demonstrations in SAP BDC, Datasphere and SAC. He is a technical expert in SAP BW/4 HANA, Enterprise HANA modelling, S/4HANA Analytics, SAP BDC, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere, SLT, and Business Objects.​

Sourav is also a passionate author and his previous book “Modernizing SAP Business Warehouse— A Strategic Guide to Migrating to SAP Business Data Cloud (SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud)” (Apress) was published in January 2026.
